Olson Ortiz gave a motivational talk and a math class to our multipliers from Colegio Calasanz.

Olson is an university professor from the Dominican Republic, who has excelled in computer programming, chess, and math. He organizes programming competitions (e.g. ACM-ICPC), ranked as a top 10 programmer in ESPN Winning Formula Challenge, holds the title of chess master, has represented the D.R. in the Iberoamerican Mathematics Olympiads, and serves a Math Multipliers advisor.

During his visit, Olson shared some of his life experiences, explained how math, chess, and computer programming have helped him, and he also covered interesting math concepts such as sequences, progressions, and geometrical problems.
